SimCity was a series of city building simulation games that Maxis made for quite a few years. Between 1984 and 2003 I worked on several versions of the series, including SimCity 2000 for the Saturn and Playstation, SimCity 4, SimCity 4: Rush Hour, and several other associated editors.

SimCity was known for having a great deal of detail to the many buildings, flora, and vehicles. I can't tell you how many road systems, trees, 'roof junk' and modular systems I made over the years, but it was usually an interesting challange... and it was always rewarding in the end to see players be able to make little, living worlds from the parts and systems we created.
